Reach Your Goal!
Donate to Your Team
Please encourage each member on your team to donate at least $25 to their own campaign. Since there is no registration fee for March for Babies, your walkers can do this instead. This will not only help you reach your team goal but will also encourage your potential sponsors to donate as well when they see that other donations have been made to your campaign.
Incentives
In raising as little as $200, you can reach the first incentive level and receive a March for Babies t-shirt. Keep fundraising, and you’ll find yourself with a Macy’s gift card!
Raise $200, get a T-shirt
Raise $350, get a T-shirt and $15 gift card*
Raise $500, get a T-shirt and $25 gift card*
Raise $1,000, get a T-shirt and $50 gift card*
Raise $2,500, get a T-shirt and $125 gift card*
Raise $5,000, get a T-shirt and $250 gift card*

On your OFT website, you have access to make an e-mail/blog badge or add a Facebook application to display your fundraising goal. Let all of your family, friends, and colleagues know about your involvement and encourage them to join you! March of Dimes also has a new iPhone application for March for Babies, so be sure to check that out!

Help spread the word about MFB 2012
Have you registerd to walk at http://www.marchforbabies.org/ yet?
Once you do, you can add individual badges to your own blog, Facebook page, email signature, or website. Select "Get Custom Fundraising Badges" from your dashboard.
A page with these options will load, and you can select which option works best for you.
You can also send out animated E-cards to friends and family as a way of asking for support. On the far left, click "Create your own E-card"Help spread the news about March of Dimes March for Babies event!

Top 5 Texas Family Teams
WOW! Look what we are doing!
With only 3 weeks to go until the the first of many Texas March for Babies walks. We have several Family Teams that are blowing it out of the water! Thank you for your dedication and support that helps us get one step closer to a day when all babies will be born healthy.
We'd like to Congratulate our TOP 5 Family Teams with the highest fundraising totals online to-date:

#4 - The Woodlands Mothers of Multiples - $ 4,108

Wow! Way to go!!! I also wanted to remind you about our Family Team Sponsorships. With these special sponsorship levels, you as a family team walker can ask local businesses to support your team at several different levels. In exchange for their sponsorship, they will receive recognition on a banner (like shown below) at the Family Teams Tent on March for Babies Day for over all walkers to see. This is a great way for small companies to advertise and give back to their community! We will need these sponsors committed by the beginning of next week in order to get our signage printed for the walk. Contact your local office for due dates
Need ideas on who to ask?
- Start close to home – Do you own a company or work for a company that would be willing to make a sponsorship donation?
- Family and Friends – Do you have friends or family that own small companies that would like to sponsor you while also reaping the benefit of recognition at the Family Teams Tent?
- Doctors – Does your OB/GYN or Pediatrician like to sponsor events that are related to their profession?
- Hairdressers, Chiropractors, Local Restaurants – This is a great way for small business owners to get their name out there.
- Preschools/Daycares – Wouldn’t these companies like to have their name posted on a banner that will be seen by thousands of families?
Also, don’t forget about our Family Team Walker Incentive. Any walker who registers and raised $200 or more online by March 31 will be entered to win 2 round-trip United Airline tickets! So, you’ve got 1 week left to secure sponsors for your team and to qualify for the family team walker incentive… Keep up the great work and let me know if I can help! Thank you!
